Chickened Out

Who are you?:
Middle School Student
Where are you from?:
Framingham MA
One day I was in a situation where I had to make a choice. My Firend's brother died in a car crash. The funeral was coming up in a couple of days and I was planning on going. When the night of the funeral came, I chikened out. I could not go. It was almost like my feet were glued to the floor. I could not find the words to explain what was going through my mind. The night passed. There was school the next day. That whole day I could not concentrate. I felt so horrible. Even today, when I think about my friend, his brother, and my choice not to go to the funeral, I still feel guilty.
